BOLTON striker Zach Clough has been linked with a move to Celtic, but Norwich City are apparently favourites to sign the 21-year-old forward.
Clough has bagged 12 goals in 31 starts for the Trotters and has spent his entire career with Bolton.
Although predominantly a striker, he can also fill in as an attacking midfielder.

CELTIC could be put off their pursuit of Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen after the Anfield side priced the Welsh ace at ÂŁ14 million.
Allen, who has also been linked with Swansea, emerged as a possible target for the Hoops following Brendan Rodgers’ appointment.

CELTIC are also ready to trigger a ÂŁ1 million release clause in a bid to bring Reading defender Chris Gunter to Parkhead.
Gunter, who is currently in France with the Wales squad at the Euros, has one year left on his contract at the Madejski Stadium and can perform at both right and left back.

CELTIC have been linked with 19-year-old Istanbul Basaksehir right back Musa Muhammed, as Brendan Rodgers seeks to solve his defensive crisis.
Centre half duo Jozo Simunovic and Dedryck Boyata are both injured while Charlie Mulgrew is still to sign a new deal.
And the agency who brought Efe Ambrose to Celtic are keen for his compatriot Muhammed, who has two years left on his contract, to join Celtic.
Reportedly a target for French side Lorient, Muhammed has been linked with Chelsea, Hamburg, Liverpool, Manchester United and Rosenborg in the past three years.

Kasey Palmer to Celtic?
CELTIC have been linked with a move for Chelsea youngster Kasey Palmer, according to reports in England.
The midfielder, who led Chelsea’s Under-19s to UEFA Youth League glory, was twice an unused sub towards the end of last season, and the Blues are rumoured to be keen on sending him out on loan. And Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers, who cut his teeth at Chelsea’s academy, could land the 19-year-old on loan as he looks to bolster his squad.

RONNY Deila has been appointed the new head coach of Valerenga, according to reports in Norway.
The former Celtic boss - who said in May that he wasn’t planning on returning to management in his homeland - will take up his new role from January 1 next year.
According to Norwegian publication VG, Deila will team up with Erik Espeseth, who is stepping down from his role as managing director at Stromsgodset.

Forrest out, Duffy in at Celtic?
BLACKBURN are reportedly interested in Celtic winger James Forrest, and are believed to be keen on taking the wideman to Ewood Park, in a move that could see Shane Duffy head in the opposite direction. The Hoops have been linked with the Irish defender, who is also attracting interest from English Premier League clubs.
But Forrest joining Rovers could persuade Owen Coyle to let Duffy move to Celtic in a separate deal. (Various)

No Hoops move for Duffy
BLACKBURN Rovers boss Owen Coyle has insisted that the Ewood Park side have not received any concrete offers for Shane Duffy from Celtic.
Coyle, who lost Grant Hanley to Newcastle earlier this week, said: “In regards to Shane, there’s been no concrete offers from Celtic. If there’s other people speculating, then I can’t really comment on that.
“I only deal in the facts and the fact is there’s been no concrete offer from Glasgow Celtic for Shane Duffy.”

Hoops ‘could add wildcard signing’
CELTIC missed Thursday’s 11pm deadline to add to their squad ahead of their arduous trip to Kazakhstan, but could add a wildcard signing 24 hours before kick off.
Among the possible signings - who could be pitched into action immediately - are Kolo Toure, Jerry St Juste and Scott Sinclair.
Assistant boss Chris Davies said: “It would be a big boost for us if we could get people in who are going to make a difference.”

Celtic should complete the signing of former Liverpool defender Kolo Toure on Saturday.
The 35-year-old worked under Brendan Rodgers at Anfield and comes in to provide much needed defensive cover.
If he passes a medical, he should be available for Wednesday's Champions League qualifier against FC Astana.
Toure, who played 26 times for Liverpool last season, would become Celtic's second summer signing after the arrival of Moussa Dembele.
The deadline for signings ahead of Wednesday's third round Champions League qualifier was 21 July, but clubs are allowed one "wildcard" signing up to 24 hours before kick-off.
Toure, who has been capped 118 times by the Ivory Coast, arrived in British football at Arsenal in 2002, becoming part of the club's famous "Invincibles" side who remained unbeaten en route to winning the 2004 Premier League title.
He joined Manchester City for ÂŁ14m in 2009, winning another Premier League title in 2012, before Rodgers took him to Liverpool in 2013.
