Hoops eye Hyun-Jun Suk
CELTIC have reportedly been linked with a move for Vitoria Setubal striker Hyun-Jun Suk. The 24-year-old cut his teeth with Ajax and has had spells with Groningen, Maritime, Al-Ahli and Nacional, and has scored 12 goals in 30 matches for the Portuguese side. He has also racked up seven assists for the Primeira Liga club. (Various)

Pantic on Celtic’s radar
RONNY Deila has also watched Eibar defender Aleksandar Pantic, as he looks to strengthen the Hoops in the January window. Pantic, who is on loan from Villareal, is a former Serbian Under-21 international and has played 12 times for the Basque team this season. Celtic were linked with Pantic in November, and the 23-year-old has caught the attention of a number of clubs throughout Europe. (The Scotsman)

THE teenage defender has already visited Glasgow with his father amid hints of a more permanent deal.

Von der Statur erinnert er an Bitton und ist wohl ein defensiver Mittelfeldspieler. Also, wenn er überzeugt und wirklich soviel Talent hat, warum nicht, dann könnnte er in Ruhe zum Bitton-Nachfolger aufgebaut werden und stünde bereit, wenn der dann irgendwann nach England geht. Ein solcher Zukunfts-Transfer löst aber keines unserer aktuellen Probleme, das sollte darüber nicht vergessen werden (Gleiches gilt im Übrigen in jeder Hinsicht auch für John Souttar).

Leeds wäre für Stokes eine schöne Sache denke ich, feines Stadion große fanatische Fanbase und auch die Stadt hat durchaus ein paar Gemeinsamkeiten mit Glasgow. Bei uns wird er einfach keine richtige Chance mehr bekommen...

Ich finde das mit Stokes wirklich ungeheuerlich.... Er ist und bleibt wohl ein keiner Kaot (außerhalb des Platzes) aber er war auch immer ein Spieler, welcher uns das gwisse etwas gegeben hat. Er hat tolle Tore geschossen, vorbereite und hat die uns momentan fehlende Kreativität....

Wer nun wirklich im Trainerstab der "Hauptverantwortlihe" ist kann ich nicht sagen. Aber ich habe das Gefühl der Disziplinfanatiker Collins scheint der Hauptpunt zu sein..... Deila sollte seine eigenen Co-Trainer bestimmen können.

EFE Ambrose could be set for a money-spinning switch to China, with Shanghai SIPG boss Sven Goran Eriksson reportedly keen on the defender. ANTHONY Stokes could be reunited with John Hughes, with Inverness set to enquire about taking the Irish striker on loan. Stokes, who played under Hughes at Hibs and Falkirk, is also a target for Barnsley and the Easter Road side but Hughes - who extended Miles Storey’s loan deal yesterday - could bring the frozen-out striker to the Highlands which could rekindle his hopes of making Ireland’s Euro 2016 squad. Weghorst an option for Celtic
CELTIC are monitoring Dutch striker Wout Weghorst, after Heracles Almelo turned down a £700,000 bid from Cardiff City. The Eredivisie outfit are reportedly looking for around £2.8 million for the 23-year-old and with Celtic prepared to spend money this window, the Hoops could open talks over a transfer. (Various)

CELTIC could dip into the Croatian transfer market once again after being linked with Slaven Belupo midfielder Ljuban Crepulja. The 22-year-old has made over 70 appearances for the Prva HNL outfit, scoring twice. He came up through the ranks at Lokomotiva Zagreb and Dinamo Zagreb - ex-club of Hoops stopper Jozo Simunovic - but kick-started his career at Segesta before a season with Hrvatski Dragovoljac. CELTIC are to run the rule over St Patrick’s Athletic midfielder Darragh Markey this weekend. The 18-year-old has been invited to play in a bounce game, and St Pat’s have given Markey the green light to attend. Peteleu on trial at Celtic
CELTIC have taken Romanian defender Andrei Peteleu on trial. The 23-year-old, who is currently with Petrolul Ploiesti along with ex-Hibs winger Abdellah Zoubir, arrived at Lennoxtown on Friday. Peteleu joined Petrolul in 2014, having previously been at Gloria Bistrita, Delta Tulcea, Targu Mures and Sageata Navodari. (STV Sport)

It's also suggested that Ajer is keen on a move to Celtic, and whilst he is preparing for the start of the Norwegian season in March, he is out of contract in the summer, meaning Celtic could land a bargain at the end of the campaign.
