The Hoops trail league leaders Hearts by three points – and could be six behind before kick-off if the Jambos dump Motherwell on Saturday night – ahead of the blockbuster in Glasgow’s east end.

Rangers themselves are all but out of the title race after a comeback win from the table toppers at Tynecastle, but second place offers a shot at Champions League qualifiers and victory would close the gap on Martin O’Neill’s men to just one point with two games to play.

A lot is at stake in this meet up and the governing body have turned to Nick Walsh as the man in the middle for the crunch showdown.

Frank Connor and Daniel McFarlane will run the lines at Parkhead while John Beaton and Chris Graham will take up the duties of VAR and AVAR.

Am Wochenende spätestens nächsten Mittwoch sind wir schlauer. Unser größter Rivale holt in dieser Saison überhaupt nichts wir haben ja auch noch den Scottish Cup. Dann ist das halt eben so in dieser Saison.

Egal, wie das in den nächsten 1,5 Wochen ausgeht, die Saison lebt von der Spannung und der Unfähigkeit der "Glasgow Giants". Beide wären unter anderen (normalen) Umständen locker 10 Punkte vor und von den Hearts würde keiner reden. So haben sie die einmalige Chance und machen ggf. einen auf Leicester City, von denen man heute auch nix mehr hört, inklusive Abstieg aus der PL.

Und echt bemerkenswert, dass wir 3 Spiele vor Schluss noch recht dick im Geschäft sind, nach 8 Niederlagen in der Liga. Das nächste WE wird episch! Natürlich zählen erstmal die 3 Punkte, aber die Hunnen haben in den letzten 4 Spielen 10 Gegentore kassiert, also Zeit für uns, die TD aufzubessern Oder es geht nach hinten los und wir zittern um Platz 2. Am Ende bleibt noch der Cup, den wir dann hoffentlich einfahren. Also alles in allem eine bemerkenswerte Saison in vielerlei Hinsicht. Und vor allem keine Langeweile a la Bundesliga.

Man muss die Leistung der Hearts aber natĂĽrlich schon anerkennen.

Einen Punkteschnitt von 2,2 ĂĽber eine ganze Saison zu halten ist natĂĽrlich sehr stark.
Die Auflistung von Dinamo zeigt auch, dass McInnes schon mit Aberdeen ĂĽberragende Punkteschnitte geholt hat.
Keine Ahnung, weshalb er nie ein Trainerkandidat bei uns war.

Das ist auch so ein bisschen meine Hoffnung. Dass sie eventuell vielleicht doch noch ins Straucheln kommen jetzt gegen Motherwell, Falkirk, Celtic.
