Both Scottish League Cup semi-finals will be played at Hampden Park on Sunday 28th October - with kick-off times of 12pm & 7.45pm.

Aberdeen v Rangers - 12pm
Hearts v Celtic - 7.45pm

Celtic's Betfred Cup semi-final against Hearts will take place at Hampden Park on Sunday 28th October with a kick-off time of 7.45pm. The other semi-final will kick-off earlier that day at 12 noon at the same ground.

The SPFL said, “The crowded fixture calendar means that this is the best and most practical solution as any alternative had the knock-on effect of causing major fixture congestion.

“We met with representatives of all four clubs earlier today and explained that this was the only feasible outcome."

The Hoops clinched their place in the last four courtesy of last night’s 1-0 win over St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park, with Leigh Griffiths netting the winner. Hearts now stand in the way of Brendan Rodgers’ team reaching their fifth successive domestic cup final.

Benkovic, Rogic, Ajer und Johnston haben heute zumindest mittrainiert

Es wird sehr interessant werden dieses Spiel. Das Spiel knackt auch einen ĂĽber 30 Jahre Rekord. 65.000 Zuschauer werden erwartet. Das ist natĂĽrlich von beiden Seiten ein starkes Argument fĂĽr das Topspiel.

Die Hearts sind stark und werden uns vor groĂźe Probleme stellen. Sollte ich die Auswahl haben, ob wir in der Liga oder im Cup gewinnen, wĂĽrde ich lieber die Liga nehmen. Die hat deutlich Vorrang.
Aber auch dieses Spiel ist richtig wichtig meiner Ansicht nach. Auch eine gute Möglichkeit die Kräfteverhältnisse zu zeigen.

Benkovic und Rogic hätten sicherlich in Leipzig spielen können. Da Boyata aber gesperrt ist morgen wollte man bei Berkovic kein Risiko eingehen. Forrest ist auch wieder mit dabei, also alles halb so wild. Ajer wird man sehen, war auch wieder im Training mit dabei. Jozo hatte gestern spät eine Untersuchung, also mal schauen, was geht. Die Mannschaft ist da, wenn nötig. Wir hätten die Hearts auswärts geschlagen, wenn wir nicht viele für die CL Quali geschont hätten. Mein Tipp 3-1 .
