If Celtic sack Ronny Deila.. who would replace him in the Parkhead hotseat?THE Norwegian is odds on to be axed before the start of next season - but who would replace him in the Hoops dugout? Record Sport Online takes a look at five potential candidates.
-
Michael O’Neill: Earlier this week, newspaper reports in Belfast claimed the Northern Ireland boss is set to replace Deila in the summer. O'Neill has been in charge of Northern Ireland since 2012 and helped them qualify for Euro 2016, the country's first major finals since 1986.
Odds with McBookie: 4/1-
David Moyes: Moyes tried his hand abroad after a dismal season in charge of Manchester United, following the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson. But despite a promising start with Real Sociedad, the Scot was sacked by the Spanish outfit last November. The former Everton boss has been linked with a number of vacancies down south, but the Celtic job could tempt him to return to Scotland.
Odds with McBookie: 6/1-
Alan Stubbs: Stubbs has impressed in his first managerial role at Hibs. The former Bolton, Celtic and Everton defender, who worked as a coach at Everton, was linked with the QPR job earlier in the season after he helped guide Hibs to the Championship play-offs last term. Stubbs has already booked Hibs' place in the League Cup Final this season, while his side remain in the hunt for the Championship title. However, could a return to Parkhead prove too tempting?
Odds with McBookie: 8/1-
Ryan Giggs: Bookmakers Betfair sparked an internet meltdown earlier this week after they tweeted that Giggs had left his role as Manchester United No.2 and was expected to replace Deila as Hoops boss. Giggs was not on the bench for Stoke's visit to Old Trafford on Tuesday night, fuelling speculation that he could be on the move. However, it has since emerged that Giggs missed the Premier League clash due to a family illness.
Odds with McBookie: 8/1-
Neil Lennon: A return to Celtic for Lennon would prove popular with the Hoops faithfaul. Lennon left Parkhead in the summer of 2014 having won three consecutive titles with the club, and guiding them into the knockout stages of the Champions League during one campaign. The Northern Irishman is currently in charge of financially-stricken Botlon, who are stranded at the foot of the English Championship table.
Odds with McBookie: 20/1Auf ner anderen Seite siehts so aus:

Wir haben andererseits ja schon Sonntag unser nächstes Spiel, und so schnell dürfte keiner dieser Kandidaten zu bekommen sein. Ein Rodgers oder Moyes sind zwar auf dem Markt, sind aber finanziell deutlich außer Reichweite, es sei denn Desmond entscheidet sich tatsächlich dafür, die Strategie zu ändern und die Schatulle zu öffnen.
