Dann war Lenny ja gestern hier in Berlin - an der Alten Försterei. Bei Yttergard hab ich mich gefragt: wer?? Gemeint ist Ruben Yttergard Jenssen. Von den drei hätte m.E. höchstens Zoller das Potenzial für uns - und das auch nur bei sehr optimistischer Einschätzung.

ich war derletzt mit einem Freund beim Spiel Lautern - Sandhausen.... War nicht der Kracher aber dieser Zoller ist ein paar mal positiv aufgefallen. Scheint einer flinker ziemlich aggresiver Stürmer zu sein. Könnte für den richtigen Preis keiner schlechter Neuzugang sein, aber er ist sicherlich kein neuer Hooper. Hoffe auch nicht, dass er ein zweiter Pukki wäre.

Neil Lennon ready to strike a deal with Austrian captain back in Celtic's sights


MARC JANKO has quit Trabzonspor – and Celtic were last night alerted to the striker’s availability on a free transfer.

The captain of Austria, who was at Lennoxtown four years ago for signing talks, has agreed an early exit from Turkey and hankers for a move to the Scottish champions.

Janko has escaped from the last year of his deal in Trabzon and can be snapped up for no fee. In addition, the Hoops are also aware the 30-year-old will accept a cut-price wage deal as he looks for the right move.

Lennon gave Janko a guided tour of the club’s training complex as Gordon Strachan tried to tie up a £5million swoop for the Red Bull Salzburg ace and knows about the player’s abilities having also had a look at him two years ago before the hitman joined Porto.

Janko’s agent Rob Jansen, whose former clients include the likes of Henrik Larsson, Pierre van Hooijdonk and Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, has begun circulating the striker’s name and Parkhead chiefs are aware of the 
situation.

The attacker would jump at a move to Celtic as the hitman revealed in January, when he played for 
Trabzonspor against them in the Antalya Cup, that he had regretted not signing in the past.

Janko, who has 107 career goals in 199 league games for Admira Wacker, Red Bull, FC Twente, Porto and the Turks and 17 in 38 for his country, insisted he would walk to Glasgow.

He said: “If I was to get the chance to talk with Celtic again I’d be interested.

“I first came to speak to them a few years ago for two days of meetings when I was at Salzburg.

“I was in Glasgow to meet with Gordon Strachan in 2009 but I always remember meeting with Mr Lennon at the same time. I got on well with him.

“I was given a tour of the city, taken to the stadium which was fantastic and I could just imagine how it would be full.

“But for reasons not really to do with Celtic, more to do with the agreement I had with Salzburg, the move did not happen.

“I had already given my word to the owner of Red Bull I would stay with his club for one more season.

“After that one year I moved to Twente in Holland and had a good time and then Porto made an offer I couldn’t resist.

“Unfortunately, things have not worked out for me since.”

Lennon is actively on the lookout for a striker and, ordinarily, the signing of a player of his age would not meet the current policy of capturing young talent and selling at an increased price.

But the chance to nab an established scorer and 
international captain on an affordable wage without having to pay a penny may appeal as a one-off move.

Stokes, Watt, Griffiths und Hooper hört sich vorne schon extrem stark an. Aber auf Gerüchte sollten wir eh nicht viel geben.

Ich würde mir Hooper wieder bei uns wünschen. Dann hätten wir viele Optionen und könnten das Thema Sturm erstmal schließen, aber ob Hooper mit seinen jetztigen Bezügen zu uns kann oder wir uns ihn dann noch leisten können ist halt die andere Frage.
