Es wäre ein richtig schöner Geldsegen, sollte ein Verkauf in der Region von £7 Mio. plus x realisiert werden können.

Auch wenn Liverpool in letzter Zeit durch teuere Transfers aufgefallen ist (Carroll ), wird man diese Saison sicher nicht mit Geld um sich werfen.
Außerdem werden im Moment dermaßen viele Namen mit Pool in Verbindung gebracht, dass es schon fast lächerlich ist.

Celtic's Ki Sung-Yueng closes in on QPR switch

QUEENS PARK RANGERS believe they have won the race to sign Celtic's Ki Sung-Yueng.

Reports from Seoul claim that a fee of ÂŁ7m has been agreed between the clubs and that only the finalising of personal terms is holding up the transfer.

Liverpool were the latest club to be linked with Ki, who has also attracted interest from the Bundesliga. Celtic received an offer from Russian club Rubin Kazan, believed to be ÂŁ6m. The offer was rejected by the Parkhead side.

QPR made their interest known several weeks ago and, having now acquired the services of another South Korean, Park Ji-Sung, are confident they are very close to completing a move for Ki.

A source close to Ki is quoted as saying: "QPR has completed a deal with Celtic for Ki Sung-Yueng's transfer and the two sides are currently negotiating over his salary. Ki Sung-Yueng's side and the clubs are all positive about the transfer, so it is virtually a done deal. Ki will play in the English Premier League."

Neil Lennon will use the transfer fee to supplement his squad with new arrivals, with the Celtic manager tracking Ki's Olympic team-mate Kim Bo-Kyung.

LENNON EYES UP DEFENSIVE DUO

CELTIC boss Neil Lennon has confirmed Polish international Sebastian Boenisch and Aidan White are on his wish-list to strengthen his threadbare defence.

Lennon, who watched his side crash 1-0 to German Third Division side Stuttgart Kickers last night, confirmed he was interested in out-of-contract Werder Bremen defender Boenisch and had made contact with the player’s representative.

Leeds youngster White is also out of contract and is another on the Celtic manager’s radar.

Speaking about Boenisch, who starred at Euro 2012, Lennon said: “He is a possibility but we haven’t heard anything back yet from his representatives.

“Until I hear something, then there is nothing I can say.”

The suggestion is that Boenisch, who has also been linked with Newcastle, would welcome a move to Parkhead but isn’t prepared to come on trial.

The 25-year-old knocked back a new deal at Bremen because he didn’t get enough top-team action last season.
Lennon has also been on the trail of Leeds defender White for some time.

The youngster has also been linked with Lille and, ironically, Werder Bremen.

Asked about White, Lennon added: “I am going with what I have unless we can get something in.

“He is a possibility and is one who interests us but that is as far as we have taken it so far.”

Celtic have also confirmed their interest in South Korean winger Kim Bo-Kyung, ahead of the Olympic Games, but he is ready to open talks with Championship side Cardiff City today.

Vorallem sind das doch 2 Außenverteidiger ??? Oder ?! Da sind wir doch mit Izzy/Blackman & Matthews/Lustig eigentlich save !!!! Wir würden da eher noch 1 IV benötigen !!!

Boenisch ist Mist, hat bei Werder nie was gezeigt, dass ihn für uns attraktiv machen würde, und ist dazu noch verletzungsanfällig. Wenn er sich dann auch noch zu fein dafür ist, bei uns mal zum trial anzutreten würde ich sagen, forget him!

White ist ne andere Sache, der ist jung, entwicklungsfähig, und ihm wird in Leeds großes Potential attestiert. Hab den einmal über 90 Minuten gesehen, der ist richtig schnell und ein Flankenautomat. Wäre mir als backup für Izzy jedenfalls tausendmal lieber als Blackman...

Aber vor allem sollte unsere Priorität auf nem guten IV liegen, das ist schon richtig. Zumal ich Wilson echt nicht mehr auf dem Platz sehen will, der Mann ist ein wandelndes Sicherheitsrisiko, von dessen Gefährlichkeit (fürs eigene Team) selbst ein Majo oder Loovens nur träumen konnten! Auch gestern wieder unterirdisch...
Blieben dann aber nurnoch Mulgrew, Rogne (verletzungsanfällig), Wanyama (vielleicht noch stärker im defensiven Mittelfeld) und Toshney (muss definitiv noch ne Menge lernen), vielleicht auch noch Fraser (Potential ist auf jeden Fall da, dürfte aber dieses Jahr aufgrund seines doch noch sehr jungen Alters vorwiegend in der U-20 auflaufen). Das ist definitiv zu wenig!
