Mir auch nicht unbedingt, aber solange es nur GerĂĽchte sind

LANDRY NGUEMO'S dream of signing for Celtic is over - but they have stepped up their attempt to sign his Nancy team-mate Alfred N'Diaye.
The Parkhead side held more talks with the French club at the start of the week but have refused to budge from their original ÂŁ1.2million offer for the Cameroon World Cup star, who now seems destined for a move to the English Premier League.
Wigan, Birmingham and Stoke have all noted interest with Nancy and are prepared to pay upwards of ÂŁ2m to sign him, as Celtic turn their attentions on N'Diaye.
Nancy sporting director Nicolas Holveck said: "We spoke to Celtic at the start of the week regarding Nguemo and following that discussion I now believe he won't be joining them next season.
"There is quite a difference in opinion over their valuation of the player and ours and because there is other interest from England I would expect him to move elsewhere.
"We have been having talks with English sides regarding Landry for over a week now but there is no panic over his sale.
"We have until the end of August to strike a deal with another side and if we don't he'll be reporting for pre-season training here on June 28."
But while the Hoops appear to have pulled out of the chase to sign Nguemo, who played over 40 games for them last season, Nancy insist there is firm interest in N'Diaye.
The 6ft 2ins defensive midfielder is likened in style to Patrick Vieira and has been in sensational form since breaking into the first team 18 months ago.
He has two years left on his contract and, having played at all youth levels for Les Bleus he's on the radar of several clubs in England as well as Celtic.
But with a hefty price tag of ÂŁ2.5m on his head - and no try-before-you-buy loan option - Celtic must spend big if they are to gamble on his potential.
Holveck added: "There have been talks with Celtic over Alfred. But there will be no loan deal - it's either a transfer or nothing."

meint Ihr die haben einen Plan ?
Bin mir da nicht so sicher.
Ich sags mal so, in 5 Wochen geht die CL Quali los.
