United teen John Souttar could be heading for Celtic
It’s understood the Hoops are considering snapping up the 19-year-old – if he does not sign a new deal at Tannadice. With his contract up next summer, they could do that as early as January by way of a pre-contract agreement.

    Celtic eye James Wilson
CELTIC have been linked with a move for Manchester United youngster James Wilson who has been in fine form for the Red Devils’ Under-21 side, but is struggling for minutes in Louis van Gaal’s first team. And Celtic reckon if Wilson continues to find first-team action hard to come by then they stand a chance of nabbing the England Under-21 forward on a loan deal in January.

Celtic linked with Aalesunds striker Leke James
AALESUNDS boss Trond Fredriksen has suggested that Celtic signing star striker Leke James could be good for all parties. The 22-year-old Nigerian ace who has netted 29 goals in 78 games for Aalesund has claimed Celtic are keeping tabs on him ahead of the January transfer window, as Ronny Deila seeks to bolster his attacking options. But Fredriksen said that, although he was keen to hang on to James, a big money move could benefit Aalesunds as well as the Hoops.

Hoops to make new bid for Berggreen

CELTIC are set to make a new bid for Eintracht Braunschweig striker Emil Berggreen after it emerged the German side had knocked back a ÂŁ2.25m bid for the Dane on deadline day.
The 22-year-old was the subject of a last-minute bid from Celtic, with Hamburg and Werder Bremen also keeping tabs on the forward.
He has scored four goals in 8 matches so far this season. (Daily Record)

    N’Sakala confirms Celtic talks

FABRICE N’Sakala has revealed that he held talks with Celtic over a potential move during the summer, but nothing materialised.
The DR Congo international, currently with Belgian outfit Anderlecht, said that he had also had talks with French side LOSC Lille, but ‘financial situations’ prevented anything from happening.
“This summer I sat around the table with Celtic. Also Lille was interested. A loan spell was a possibility, but it all came to nothing because of financial situations,” said N’Sakala. (Voetbalkrant)

Wilson set to join Hoops on loan

MANCHESTER United striker James Wilson is set to join Celtic on a loan deal until the end of the season in January, according to reports.
The England Under-21 forward has played just once for United this season and Louis van Gaal is said to be happy for the 19-year-old to get some game time elsewhere.
Wilson will join up with Old Trafford team-mate Tyler Blackett and former United starlet Saidy Janko. (Daily Mail)

    Rangers join Souttar race

RANGERS have been linked with a move for Dundee United defender John Souttar, just days after reported interest from Celtic.
The 19-year-old, who can play in defensive midfield or central defence, has been courted by the likes of Arsenal, Southampton and Sunderland, with United accepting a ÂŁ600k bid from the latter only for Souttar to knock it back.
Rangers are reportedly on the lookout for defensive cover, with Souttar mentioned as a possible target. (Various)

    Celts want Slovak superkid Bero

CELTIC are chasing Slovak wonderkid Matus Bero.
SunSport understands the Hoops are among a host of top clubs keeping tabs on the AS Trencin midfielder.
Slovakian sources claim Celtic had the 20-year-old watched in a league match against Spartak Myjava last month.
Bero, who faced Holland Under-21s last night, is also being chased by clubs in England, Italy and Belgium.
Bero has nine goals in 15 games this season and is capable of playing in several midfield positions.

CELTIC are chasing Croatia defender Marko Leskovic ahead of the January transfer window. And SunSport understands Dundee United starlet John Souttar is also back on Ronny Deila’s radar as he looks to bolster his dodgy defence.
Parkhead scouts watched the £1.5million-rated Leskovic, 24, in action for his club HNK Rijeka against Hajduk Split earlier this month. Left-sided Leskovic strolled through the match in a 3-0 victory. Now Parkhead sources have told SunSport the three-times capped centre-half is on Deila’s list of potential targets.
The under pressure Celtic manager is also looking closely at the domestic market ahead of the January transfer window opening. And Tannadice kid Souttar is someone Deila could be keen to snap up. The 19-year-old Scotland starlet is out of contract at the end of the season and so far his negotiations over a new deal have stalled.

    http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/sport/spl/celtic/6760110/Celts-eye-swoop-for-Croat-Magic-Marko.html

CELTIC scouts took in Villarreal’s 1-1 draw with Eibar at El Madrigal at the weekend, sparking further talk about potential January signings. It is not known who the representatives were watching, but 23-year-old Serbian defender Aleksandar Pantic, on-loan at Eibar from Villarreal, is a possibility. Pantic’s deal with Villarreal is up in the summer of 2016, and Ronny Deila has been linked with a number of defenders in recent weeks such as Marko Leskovic of HNK Rijeka while Jozo Simunovic, Saidy Janko, Tyler Blackett and Dedryck Boyata all signed during the last transfer window.

CELTIC and Swansea City are on the trail of St Johnstone star Michael O’Halloran
SunSport understands both clubs watched the attacker in Friday’s 1-1 draw with Dundee. O’Halloran has been in outstanding form and was recently tipped for a Scotland call-up.

Celtic given green light to make move for St Pauli striker Lennart Thy as German ace stalls on new contract offer
CELTIC are set to move quickly in order to seal a deal for St Pauli striker Lennart Thy. Thy will be available for a knockdown price in January as his deal runs out in the summer, but Celtic face competition from the English Premier League as well as a number of German outfits.
St Pauli have offered Thy a new three-year deal as the Hamburg side are keen to hold onto him, but the 23-year-old is in no rush to make a decision.

LEIGH GRIFFITHS is ready to snub interest from the English Premier League and pledge his future to Celtic
LEIGH Griffiths is reportedly a target for English Premier League sides Crystal Palace and Swansea. The ex-Hibs and Wolves striker has bagged 19 goals for Celtic this season, and nearly 50 since signing in January 2014, but is understood to be happy at Celtic and not open to a return down south.

John Collins has admitted Celtic are keeping tabs on Aston Villa striker Libor Kozak and claims midfielder Nir Bitton is worth over ÂŁ10m
Celtic boss Ronny Deila took a trip to watch Czech Republic striker Kozak in action as Aston Villa's U21s beat Derby 2-1 and after failing to land the striker this summer, the attacker remains on the Scottish champions' radar.
Collins said: "Ronny went down and had a look at the game and of course he [Kozak] scored a couple of goals but there's nothing imminent. We're looking to strengthen all over to be honest."

    Der Daily Record nochmal:

Celtic transfer targets: Could one of these strikers be a Bhoy come January as Ronny Deila chases a treble?
Despite the goalscoring exploits of main forward Leigh Griffiths, Ronny Deila will likely be looking at a new striker given summer signing Nadir Ciftci has flopped, Carlton Cole has yet to make an impression and Anthony Stokes has hardly featured and is now suspended.

    Adam Gyurcso on Celtic’s radar
CELTIC have been linked with Videoton winger Adam Gyurcso, who is soon to be out of contract. The 24-year-old Hungary international, who has made over 100 appearances for the OTP Bank Liga outfit, has netted more than 20 goals for Videoton but has opted not to sign a new deal. Videoton’s sporting director Zoltan Kovacs has confirmed that the player will leave the club, with the player’s agent revealing there have been several offers from different countries. (Daily Express)

    Hoops plot Großkreutz swoop
CELTIC could make a last-ditch attempt to bring former Borussia Dortmund midfielder Kevin Großkreutz to Glasgow, despite reports that Liverpool have agreed a deal with the 27-year-old winger. Großkreutz joined Galatasaray in the summer but hasn’t kicked a ball for them due to a registration issue. The Turkish side are happy for Großkreutz to leave, and are looking for around £1.8m for the player, who Anfield boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly keen to bring to England. (Various)

I’m going nowhere, says Celtic’s Nir Bitton
Israeli midfielder Nir Bitton has called speculation linking him away from Celtic as “crazy”. Remarks by his agent on an Israeli radio station suggested the player was unsettled at Parkhead and pined for a move to the English Premier League, but Bitton has quashed such talk. After his agent retracted his remarks, he said: “There has been a lot of speculation about me in the last days but I don’t care. Everybody can say what they want – I have no control over that. All I care about is Celtic.” (Daily Mail)

Hoops want Bradshaw - but may face competition from Gers
CELTIC have been linked with a move for Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw as Ronny Deila looks to add firepower to his squad in January. But the Hoops could face competiton from rivals Rangers, who are also in the market for a forward. Former Welsh U21 international Bradshaw, 23, has scored 29 goals in 57 appearances for The Saddlers, including 20 in 37 last season. (Various)
