Celtic could face Ajax for the third time this season after being announced as participants in a Turkish tournament in January.

The pair, who met in the UEFA Champions League group stage, have been named with Galatasaray and Trabzonspor in the Antalya Cup. Celtic have been paired with Trabzonspor, with their match taking place on January 9. Ajax will take on Galatasaray the next day, with the two losing sides facing on January 11 in a third-place play-off. The final will be held on Sunday, January 12. All matches will be held at the Akdeniz Universitesi-Stadion in Antalya.

Da hat sich unsere Babytruppe ĂĽber 90 Minuten sehr gut geschlagen. Es steht 0-0, jetzt gehts ins Elfmeterschiessen.

Laut orf ist am 6. Juli ein Testspiel Celtic gegen Rapid Wien. Spielort das Wiener Hanappi-stadion. Schaut also sehr nach einer zumindest österreichischen Pre-season aus .

Scottish champions to face Spurs in Helsinki

CELTIC will now go head-to-head against English Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur in a glamour pre-season friendly in Helsinki this summer instead of Bayer Leverkusen as previously announced.

The North London side finished sixth in the league this term and are packed with top-class international players, a number of whom will feature at the World Cup in Brazil.

And they will offer an excellent test to Neil Lennon’s men ahead of a new campaign as they aim to seal a fourth successive title and progress to the UEFA Champions League group stages for the third year running.

Held in the Olympic Stadium, on August 2, the match will also be a homecoming for Celtic’s Finnish striker Teemu Pukki, who enjoyed a profitable 12-month spell for local side HJK Helsinki before his move to the Bundesliga.
