Ein Rechtsverteidiger, das ist schonmal ein gutes Zeichen! Odubajo galt mal als großes Talent, ist die letzten beiden Jahre allerdings durchgehend mit einer schweren Knieverletzung ausgefallen (hatte drei OPs am Knie). Trotzdem hat Hull ihm wohl einen neuen Vertrag angeboten, den er allerdings abgelehnt hat. Wenn er seine Verletzungsprobleme jetzt vollständig überwunden hat, könnte er ein echter Steal sein, quasi ein zweiter Craig Gordon. Allerdings kann ich überhaupt nicht einschätzen, inwieweit seine Stärken (schnell, athletisch, dynamisch, direkt) nach dieser Verletzung in dem Maße noch vorhanden sind, von daher ist ein Trial sicher keine schlechte Idee (adere Quellen sagen aber auch, er würde bei uns im Trainingslager noch nicht trainieren können, weil noch nicht vollständig fit). Wenn man sich anguckt, wie er vorher so gespielt hat, sieht das schons ehr vielversprechend aus, warten wir einfach mal ab.

Now fully-fit, he was pictured training at former club Brentford yesterday as he continues his hunt for a new club.
Celtic are in the market for a new right-back to provide competition for Mikael Lustig. Cristian Gamboa doesn’t have a future at the club while Anthony Ralston could head out on loan again.
