BR on return of @kierantierney1 "Kieran looked like he hadn't been away, dynamic on that side. He and Scott have a great combination."

BR: "I thought Dedryck Boyata looked real quality today. He looked like the young player at @ManCity I knew."

BR: "I saw him play against Didier Drogba as a really young player & he was fantastic - strong, quick, aggressive, kept it simple."

BR: "In the last few weeks in training, he has been great, and today he was really focused with no mistakes. He was very good."

Ich fand die Auslosung geil. Am besten war, als Rod der SPL Pfeife den Handschlag verweigerte. Und Rod konnte im Gegensatz zu Stubbs auch die Zahlen auf den Kugeln richtig erkennen.

Rogic wurde in London operiert, fällt für die nächsten 8-10 Wochen aus. Armstrong und Griffiths fallen für Samstag aus. Sind aber nächste Woche wieder fit. Das hat Rodgers auf der heutigen PK bekannt gegeben.

Stuart Armstrong (hamstring) and Leigh Griffiths (calf) will again miss out as Brendan Rodgers prepares for the Scottish Cup fifth-round tie at home to Inverness on Saturday.

However, the Hoops boss revealed both should be ready for next week's league game against Motherwell.

Moussa Dembele returned from injury to score a hat-trick in the 5-2 win at St Johsntone last weekend and will again be tasked with leading the home attack.

Liam Henderson impressed and was also on the scoresheet in Perth and he may be handed his fifth start of the season by Rodgers.

Midfielder Tom Rogic will be out for another two months after having an operation on his ankle.

Inverness centre-back Josh Meekings will play no part and faces two months on the sidelines after knee surgery.

Manager Richie Foran dropped Owain Fon Williams to the bench for the 2-2 draw with Dundee last weekend but the Wales goalkeeper could be restored to the starting XI in Glasgow.

Defenders Lewis Horner (knee) and Kevin McNaughton (Achilles) are still sidelined.

Foran is quietly confident his team, without a league win since October, can defy the odds and torpedo Celtic's treble ambitions.

He said: "We go there with no pressure - probably the only Premiership team without pressure. Celtic are through in most people's minds.

"Celtic are a fabulous team, the best in Scotland, but even the best teams in the world have off days. We have to make sure that if they do then we capitalise on that."

Ansonsten könnte im Achtelfinale das Edinburgher-Derby noch ein ganz, ganz heißes Pflaster werden.
