Hoops eye Hyun-Jun Suk
CELTIC have reportedly been linked with a move for Vitoria Setubal striker Hyun-Jun Suk. The 24-year-old cut his teeth with Ajax and has had spells with Groningen, Maritime, Al-Ahli and Nacional, and has scored 12 goals in 30 matches for the Portuguese side. He has also racked up seven assists for the Primeira Liga club. (Various)

RONNY Deila has also watched Eibar defender Aleksandar Pantic, as he looks to strengthen the Hoops in the January window. Pantic, who is on loan from Villareal, is a former Serbian Under-21 international and has played 12 times for the Basque team this season. THE teenage defender has already visited Glasgow with his father amid hints of a more permanent deal.

Von der Statur erinnert er an Bitton und ist wohl ein defensiver Mittelfeldspieler. Also, wenn er ĂŒberzeugt und wirklich soviel Talent hat, warum nicht, dann könnnte er in Ruhe zum Bitton-Nachfolger aufgebaut werden und stĂŒnde bereit, wenn der dann irgendwann nach England geht. Ein solcher Zukunfts-Transfer löst aber keines unserer aktuellen Probleme, das sollte darĂŒber nicht vergessen werden (Gleiches gilt im Übrigen in jeder Hinsicht auch fĂŒr John Souttar).

Leeds wĂ€re fĂŒr Stokes eine schöne Sache denke ich, feines Stadion große fanatische Fanbase und auch die Stadt hat durchaus ein paar Gemeinsamkeiten mit Glasgow. Bei uns wird er einfach keine richtige Chance mehr bekommen...

CELTIC have taken Romanian defender Andrei Peteleu on trial. The 23-year-old, who is currently with Petrolul Ploiesti along with ex-Hibs winger Abdellah Zoubir, arrived at Lennoxtown on Friday. Peteleu joined Petrolul in 2014, having previously been at Gloria Bistrita, Delta Tulcea, Targu Mures and Sageata Navodari. (STV Sport)
