Ich kann mir irgendwie nicht vorstellen, dass Duffy kommt. Nur Celtic Fan zu sein, reicht nicht aus. Er hat seit Jahren an „englische“ Verhältnisse gewohnt und ist somit ziemlich „versaut“... Denke nicht, dass wir da zuschlagen werdne.

Mit jeder Woche wird die Wahrscheinlichkeit geringer.

Die Sache ist durch denke ich

Wie bereits erwähnt, einfach nicht unser Beuteschema.

Den hätte man "mitgenommen", wenn er uns zugeflogen wäre (kostenlose Leihe, nur Gehalt bezahlen), aber ich denke seit die 2 Mio im Raum stehen ist das Thema erledigt.

Mir ist es lieber, wir holen einen IV, der weiß wie Fußball auf der Insel gespielt wird. Lieber diese zwei Mille locker machen für Duffy, als so eine Art Glücksfee zu verpflichten, der eine viel längere Eingewöhnungszeit braucht. Vielleicht sogar mit einer Kaufoption, denn mit 28 Jahren kann Duffy noch einige Jahre hinten drin spielen.

Celtic are said to be close to completing a deal to bring in Motherwell playmaker David Turnbull, according to a report from Football Insider.

The report claims that The Hoops and the player have agreed on personal terms and the deal looks close to completion.

A source close told Football Insider that Turnbull has agreed to a long-term contract with the Scottish Champions and that a ÂŁ2million-plus offer has been agreed by the two clubs.

The 21-year-old has recently returned to full fitness and is showing his best form once more, just over a year on from a deal to see him move to Celtic Park collapsed.

With everything in place, Celtic doctors discovered that Turnbull had a knee issue during his medical and thus, they cancelled the deal. The midfielder has since undergone two surgeries to correct the problem.

This term, the Scottish Under-21 international has played five times for the Fir Park club in the Scottish Premiership, scoring once.

It looks likely Turnbull will replace the outgoing Tom Rogic who looks set to leave Parkhead in the near future, potentially in a switch to a Qatari club.

However, given what occurred last June when it first looked like Neil Lennon had got his man, nobody close to this transfer will be counting their chickens.

Abgefahren...dass das doch noch was wird, hätte ich vor einem Jahr nicht gedacht :-D
Aber bevor die Tinte nicht trocken ist, sollte man bei diesem Transfer ja nicht zu sicher sein ;-D

Wenn's tatsächlich jetzt sogar für "nur" 2 Mios + X klappt, hat man sogar einiges gespart und ein wirklich spannendes Talent an Land gezogen. Ich frage mich nur, wo er spielen soll.
Klar, die Saison wird lang und der Terminplan hat es nochmal zusätzlich in sich, aber wenn Ntcham es schon nicht regelmäßig ins Team schafft...es sei denn, man hat sich entschieden, sowohl Rogic als auch Ntcham ziehen zu lassen.

Mir fehlt aber trotzdem nach wie vor mindestens ein Innenverteidiger :-D

Duffy hat auf Instagram ein Bild aus einem Flugzeug gepostet mit den Worten Let's go. An sich noch nicht so außergewöhnlich, allerdings hat sein Bruder im Anschluss das Celtic Logo auf seinem eigenen Account gepostet. Muss natürlich nix heißen, könnte es aber ja vielleicht auch doch...mir wär es definitiv Recht ;-)

Das wĂĽrde bedeuten, das man Rogic defintiv ziehen lassen wĂĽrde, sobald ein gutes Angebot reinflattert.

Bzgl. der groĂźen Baustelle IV: Duffy befindet sich in Schottland; und zwar im Vorbereitungscamp mit seinem jetztigen Club

Gerüchte um neue IVs gibts tagtäglich, vornehmlich von Verteidiger aus der Seria A und der engl. Championship... gestern war es Bartosz Bereszynski von Samdoria (IV/RV), zuvor Liam Moore von Reading und und und....

Dazu kommt heute das Gerücht aus, dass Liverpool Ajer als Ersatz für Loveren verpflichten möchte - von mir aus gerne bei entsprechender Ablöse - der AC Milan bot angeblich im Frühjahr um die 20Mio..
Bräuchten so oder so noch 2 gestandene, hartgesonnene IVs.
