Wundert mich, dass wir nicht mal bei Falkirk nachschauen. Die haben mit ihrer jungen Mannschaft ja echt gut gespielt gegen uns im Pokal. FĂŒr die zweite Reihe wĂ€ren da bestimmt 1-2 Spieler dabei.

Aber im Hinblick auf die CL-Quali mĂŒssen natĂŒrlich erstmal andere Kaliber kommen.

Und den Kader schön weiter ausmisten!

Junge Spieler haben wir einige in der Mannschaft, da mĂŒssen wir sicherlich nicht in Falkirk nach Spielern suchen. Die allerdings werden sich in den nĂ€chsten Jahren sehr wohl bei solchen Vereinen nach Spielern umschauen.
Unser GerĂŒst steht, was noch fehlt ( IV ) wird Lenny noch in die Mannschaft einbauen. Hat doch bisher bestens geklappt seit seiner Übernahme.

Celtic have been linked with a move for Newcastle striker Leon Best, who has a year left on his contract with the Toon.

Best appears to be surplus to requirements at Newcastle and reports in the north east claim they are planning to offer him to clubs, including Celtic, as Toon boss Alan Pardew plans to trim his squad.

Celtic tried to sign Best in January but the 26-year-old decided to remain with Newcastle to try and fight for his place.

However, the frontman failed to break into the starting eleven, with Demba Ba and Papiss Demba Cisse ahead of him in the pecking order, and Best could now be tempted by a move to the SPL, while Celtic are also able to offer Champions League football.

Four more Bhoys exit Paradise



CELTIC can confirm that the following four players have now left the club – Dominic Cervi, Darren O®Dea, Niall McGinn and Richie Towell.

Cervi, a former USA Under-23 internationalist, joined the club in the summer of 2009. Although the towering goalkeeper played in a number of friendlies for the Hoops, and was on bench on several occasions, he failed to make a competitive first team appearance. During the last campaign, he spent a period on loan at Morton.

Currently starring for Ireland at Euro 2012, OÂŽDea progressed through the ranks at Celtic to become an important member of the first team squad, helping the club to several domestic honours. The defender played 70 games for the club, captaining the team on a number of occasions. Among his highlights as a Bhoy, was a goal in the 2-0 League Cup final win over Rangers in 2009.

McGinn moved to Paradise from Derry City in January 2009, after his performances in his homeland had attracted interest from clubs in England and elsewhere. He made his Celtic debut later that year against Dundee United and went on to make 36 appearances, scoring six goals. The Northern Ireland internationalist spent last season on loan at Brentford City.

Fellow Irishman, Towell, was a product of the Celtic Youth Academy and earned his top-team bow in November 2010 in a 2-2 draw with Inverness Caley Thistle. Capped at youth level for his country, the versatile youngster spent last term on loan at Hibs in order to gain regular first team football.

Everyone at Celtic would like to thank all four players for their contribution over the years and they leave with the clubÂŽs best wishes.

K.Wilson, Murphy, Bangura, Rasmussen auch noch weg. Und wenn Paddy öfters auf dem Platz stehen möchte, wĂ€re fĂŒr ihn ein Wechsel auch sinnvoll. Ich denke, daß man das ganze genau richtig macht. Goalie, 2 IV und ein StĂŒrmer her, das reicht aus. Dazu Spieler wie z.b Watt, Keatings, Genoch usw. weiter an das Team heran fĂŒhren.

Celtic star Victor Wanyama wants a summer switch to England

CELTIC were hit with a hammer blow last night when it emerged Victor Wanyama wants to land a summer switch to England.
Record Sport can reveal the Hoops midfielder feels he has already enhanced his reputation enough in the past 12 months in Scotland to earn a big money move to the glamour of England’s top flight.
And it’s understood several top Premier League sides already have the versatile powerhouse on their summer shopping lists.
The Hoops signed the Kenya international from Belgian side Beerschot AC last summer for £900,000 and he joined on a four-year deal at ‘entry level’ wages.
He was outstanding for Neil Lennon’s side last term as they romped to the SPL title and his employers feel his value has rocketed to more than £7million.
Celtic will, of course, try everything in their power to keep him but the player is adamant he wants to go for footballing reasons.
The English vultures may, however, face a fight from clubs in Italy to land the talented 20-year-old star.
He has a fine reputation in Serie A because of his brother, McDonald Mariga, who plays for Inter Milan.
Record Sport can reveal Italian champs Juventus would be keen to bid for Wanyama but they have been informed his preference is a move to England.
He sees himself as a central midfielder but feels he may well be moved around by Lennon to accommodate others such as skipper Scott Brown and Beram Kayal.
Last season he played several games in central defence and although he was a stand-out in that area, it’s not his favoured position.
A friend of Wanyama’s said last night: “Victor has told a few of his international
team-mates he believes he is moving to the English Premiership this summer. He wants to play in England.
“He has sometimes felt undervalued but he really enjoyed last season at Celtic and it was an honour and privilege for him to help them win the league title.
“He also felt he built up a special relationship with the Celtic supporters.
“Victor hopes they can understand his reasons for wanting to leave.”


Also eigentlich geb ich Dir recht Mc Celtic, TW, 2 IV und nen StĂŒrmer, dazu die von Dir genannten weg.
Wenn allerdings der Wanyama unbedingt in die EPL will ??? WĂŒrde ich sagen fĂŒr 7 Mille, Bitteschön.
Dann kann man ruhig den Andrews ablösefrei holen. Dazu 2 Mille fĂŒr den Foster, 2 Mille fĂŒr den Best (ich denk des is echt ein guter, wird seine Tore bei UNS definitiv machen), den Mills on loan fĂŒr die IV (sagen wir mal 0,5 Mille), so dann bleiben uns noch 3,5 Mille fĂŒr einen richtigen Kracher in der IV fĂŒr die CL (neben Charly natĂŒrlich ).

Es könnte so einfach sein... ......isses aber nich.....

Ich wĂŒrde lieber Ki fĂŒr 5 Mille abgeben als Victor fĂŒr 7. Sollten allerdings mehrere Clubs interesiert sein, könnte der Preis fĂŒr Wanyama auch noch steigen. DafĂŒr könnten wir uns praktisch Forster, einen IV und Rhodes kaufen. Victor allerdings sollte mal schön auf dem Boden bleiben und erstmal schauen, daß er eine weitere Saison seine guten Leistungen bei uns bestĂ€tigt.

Die Spieler haben lange Vertrag bei uns, somit können wir uns das ganz gelassen durch den Kopf gehen lassen wenn ein Angebot kommt.

Ich glaube diese Sorgen hĂ€tten die auch gerne. Da können ein Daisy oder Shagger fĂŒr 2 Mille gehen.

Was die Quelle bei Victor angeht, soll das nicht gerade die beste sein. GerĂŒchte wird es in naher Zukunft sehr viele geben, ein Teil wird stimmen, der weitaus grössere sicherlich nicht.

es wÀre sehr schade, wenn Victor uns verlassen sollte - allerdings soll man Reisende nicht aufhalten und finanziell gesehen spielt uns sein noch lang laufender Vertrag in die HÀnde.
Also bei GBP 7 Mio. (plus vielleicht noch eine Partizitpation bei einem möglichen Weiterverkauf ?) sollten die obigen Berechnungen schon angestellt werden. Mit dieser Summe können wir mit unserer Methode Spieler billig(er) zu kaufen viel bewirken - in der SPL und auch international - und das, ohne unser Budget auszureizen.

Herzschmerz ja - aber bei so viel Kohle wĂ€re ich fĂŒr einen Verkauf - zumal es angeblich auch sein Wille ist zu wechseln.

FĂŒr 900000 geholt, fĂŒr 7 Mille oder mehr verkauft. Das nennt man, so sollte Victor gehen, einen satten Gewinn in der Kasse. Da können wir fleissig weiter einkaufen und unsere Mannschaft verstĂ€rken. Bei den sieht das so aus, Fuckerty fĂŒr 3, 25 Mille gekauft, kann gehen fĂŒr 500000. Und bei Spielern wie Emilio, Forrest, Kayal, Matthews oder Hooper sieht das nicht anderst aus. Sollten die mal in die EPL wechseln, werden wir sehr viel Geld bekommen. Ich sage auch mal frech vorraus, sollten wir Forster fĂŒr 2 Mille kaufen, werden wir in 2 Jahren bei weitem mehr fĂŒr ihn bekommen bei einem Verkauf. Allerdings denke ich im Moment weniger an einen Verkauf unserer Spieler, denn wir wollen ja weiter nach vorne kommen. Spieler die sich Ă€ussern weg zu wollen, bitte fĂŒr teueres Geld verkaufen.
