Wir brauchen die Fans. Meiner Ansicht nach, sind die folgenden CL Qulispiele die wichtigsten der Saison. Helsinki muss geschlagen werden. Danach hoffe ich auf ein bisschen Losglück. Denke es werden 55000 Fans den Celtic Park finden. Wäre gegen einen Gegner wie Helsinki stark.

Denke eher, die waren alle schon in Gedanken beim Spiel am Mittwoch und haben sich entsprechend geschont, von daher lässt dieses Ergebnis wohl (leider) keine wirklichen Rückschlüsse auf deren aktuelle Form/Qualität zu.

Ich bin optimistisch. Lenny wird keine Gelegenheit ausgelassen haben, um die Lhads an die Wichtigkeit des Spiels zu erinnern.

Wir haben einfach die deutlich besseren Spieler und das wird den Ausschlag geben.

Unterschätzen darf man Skandinavier aber natürlich nie.

Kris Commons and Anthony Stokes are both doubtful for Celtic's Champions League qualifying clash against HJK Helsinki on Wednesday.

Commons ist zweifelhafter als Stokes, das hätte ich nach den Bildern von Samstag so auch nicht erwartet! Der Anthony scheint echt ne Maschiene zu sein...

Ok, im Sturm hätten wir Sammy und Hooper. Mir wäre Commons ( Kayal, Brown und Forrest angeschlagen ) im Mittelfeld fast lieber. Besser natürlich, wenn beide spielen könnten.

Bin mal gespannt wie voll der CP wird. Der erste Rang ist bereits fast ausverkauft. Denke ganz voll wird es nicht werden, aber auf 52000- 54000 können wir uns bestimmt freuen.

Rogne: Hoops squad good enough

Thomas Rogne insists Celtic do not need any new players in order to launch a successful assault on the Champions League this season.

The Hoops play host to HJK Helsinki in a crucial qualifier at Parkhead as they bid to take their place among the continent's elite.

Rogne would welcome any new additions before the end of the transfer window but believes Neil Lennon's squad is strong enough with the players the manager already has at his disposal.

The defender said: "We've got a good squad and a lot of good players here so I don't think we need anyone. I think we've got a good enough team.

"Of course, if they bring someone in, that's great, it's good competition. But I don't think it's that necessary as we've got a good team."

Rogne says experience of the Europa League last term has only made Celtic even more determined to qualify for the Champions League this time around.

He said: "We've got a chance to get into Europe and that's important for us.

"We played in the Europa League last year and we enjoyed it.

"If we get the chance to play in the Champions League this year, it's going to be even bigger.

"It's where everyone wants to be and hopefully we can take a Scottish team into the Champions League.

"It's our first competitive game so obviously we want to win the game and kick on for the season.

"If we get the chance to play in the Champions League at Celtic Park in front of the best fans in the world, that would be amazing.

"They are a good team. We've seen them play and we are preparing really well for this game.

"The whole pre-season has been about this game.

"We know they are an organised team, they are a typical Scandinavian team, and they are going to be hard to beat.

"It's going to be tough but we are prepared for it."

Ich hoffe es sehr, denn ne reguläre TV-Übertragung scheints ansonsten nicht zu geben. Allerdings ist Celtic in der Vergangenheit bei solchen Spielen ja oft so verfahren das nicht zu zeigen, um mehr Leute ins Stadion zu kriegen...
