Ange Postecoglou is Manager of the Month for October
Ange Postecoglou has been named the Scottish Premiership Glen’s Manager of the Month for October. It follows an impressive run of results for the Hoops, who remained unbeaten throughout the month with four league win victories over Aberdeen, Motherwell, St Johnstone and Hibernian, along with a draw against Livingston.

:celt3

It appears to show Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou, Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Ibrox sporting director Ross Wilson all in the same room, at the same time, in the outside world.

Ange Postecoglou provides Celtic January transfer update and says he has no plans to take time off during winter break

“No breaks. We just keep cracking on. There is plenty to do and I’ve got plenty of energy. I’ll have plenty of time to switch off when I’m old and grey. I had a nice Christmas morning with my family. I’ve got some young ones who were causing chaos with their gifts from Father Christmas. That was great. But I love what I do. I don’t need to switch off."

Was ein Typ, wirklich!

KYOGO FURUHASHI has been fantastic, Jota has been a joy to watch. But the BEST signing Celtic have made this season remains Ange Postecoglou.

Celtic ‘add former Benfica data analyst’ Antoine Ortega to their sports science team
Frenchman Ortega, who worked as a consultant for the Portuguese giants, has been brought in to assist with player recruitment and opposition analysis. Educated with a Masters in data science the University of Paris-Saclay, Ortega works as a football data scientist with a firm called Smartcoach. He also founded a company called Dunk the Data where he published statistical studies football and the NBA. And now - after a stint consulting with Benfica - Celtic will ask him to delve into the data and numbers to assist Ange Postecoglou's bid to deliver the Scottish Premiership title.

Klingt nach einer sehr interessanten Personalie.

Antoine Ortega, the forward-thinking support Ange requested

Ange Postecoglou is Manager of the Month for February
Ange Postecoglou has been announced as the Scottish Premiership Glen’s Manager of the Month for February 2022. Kicking off February with a decisive 3-0 derby win over Rangers, followed by a 4-0 victory against Motherwell, set the Celtic manager's side up for an impressive month - picking up 13 points to maintain their position at the top of the Premiership table. With further important league wins against Aberdeen and Dundee, and a draw with Hibernian away, the Hoops finished the month undefeated. The Australian manager has now earned three of these accolades this season, having also been named as the Glen’s Premiership Manager of the Month for October and January.

Hoops boss makes it three-in-a-row with Manager of the Month Award
Ange Postecoglou has completed a hat-trick of Scottish Premiership Glen’s Manager of the Month awards, by being awarded the March 2022 trophy. The latest award – the Celtic manager’s fourth of the 2021/22 season – comes after an impressive run of results last month which saw the Hoops beat St Mirren 2-0 at home, then defeat Livingston 3-1 at the Tony Macaroni Arena before recording a 4-0 home win over Ross County in the last league fixture before the international break. Those results maintained the three-point lead at the top of the Premiership table going into this weekend’s Glasgow derby clash at Ibrox. And in March, Celtic also booked their place in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup with a 3-0 win over Dundee United at Tannadice.

Ange Postecoglou takes home Scottish Football Writers' Manager of the Year prize at awards night
A week on from collecting the PFA Scotland Manager of the Year award, Ange Postecoglou was digging out his black tie once again for the Scottish Football Writers’ Association awards last night (Sunday). In what has turned into a remarkable first season in charge of Celtic, the manager was handed another award to add to his ever-growing cabinet that stands to showcase his role in turning around the club’s fortunes this year. Fresh after watching his team put in a dominant display to defeat Hearts at a packed Paradise, Ange Postecoglou was in attendance to pick up the Manager of the Year title, as voted for by the country’s journalists. With a League Cup title already in the bag and the club on the brink of reclaiming the Scottish Premiership title, Ange Postecoglou was tipped for the honour ahead of Scotland’s Steve Clarke, Ross County’s Malky Mackay, Hearts’ Robbie Neilson and Arbroath’s Dick Campbell.

"People say you go to another country for a better life," Postecoglou says, reflecting on his family's decision. "My parents didn't have a better life - they went to Australia to provide opportunities for me to have a better life.

"I understand what sacrifice is about, I understand what being in a privileged position like I am now is about. I'm not going to take this for granted because I know how hard my mum and dad worked.

"They sacrificed their whole life for me to be here. I don't feel like I'm working every day, I feel like I'm living a dream that was founded by other people's sacrifice."

Emotional Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou gives heart-warming story of late father and explains why Hoops’ values fit him

Ange nets a hat-trick in Manager of the Year awards
Ange Postecoglou has been announced as the Glen’s Manager of the Season hot on the heels of previously picking up the PFA Scotland Manager of the Year, closely followed by the Scottish Football Writers' award for the season as well. The latest accolade, after picking up the past four consecutive Glen’s monthly awards, was announced today, giving the manager a clean sweep of the end-of-term awards to cap a season to remember in his first year in charge of the Hoops, with the big one, the SPFL title, added to the League Cup won earlier in December.

One year of Ange Postecoglou as Celtic manager
It was on June 10, 2021, when Ange Postecoglou was announced as the new permanent manager of Celtic Football Club, becoming the 19th man to take on the role. Despite his previous and very successful spells in and with Australia, as well as time in Japan, he arrived as a relative unknown, but over the course of 12 months, Ange Postecoglou well and truly embedded himself in the hearts of Celtic supporters around the world.
