Edouard hat für die U 21 gespielt und einen Elfer verwandelt. Verstehe das nicht so ganz, da Lennon gesagt hat Edouard wird nicht für die U 21 spielen. Da fehlt er uns verletzt in der CL Quali und gegen Motherwell, aber da kann er auflaufen.

Odsonne Edouard’s Celtic future appears to be up in the air.

The 22-year-old, who has just 18 monthsleft on his current Hoops deal, is reportedlyone of four first-team stars who the club could cash in on in the New Year.

Celtic rejected a bid for Edouard over the summer from an unnamed German side and it now appears as if the player has interest from another European side.

According to the Italian media, cited by the Daily Record, AC Milan view the French forward as a potential heir to Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Edouard is reportedly among a list of candidates put together by directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara which also includes Sassuolo’s Gianluca Scamacca and Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland

Odsonne Edouard has won the SPFL Premiership Player of the Month Award for February after an impressive run of form which saw the French striker score seven goals in seven games throughout the month. That began with a double in the 4-0 win over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park, and the 23-year-old followed that up with what proved to be the winner in a 2-1 home win over Motherwell. He then netted a penalty in a 4-0 victory over St Mirren at Paisley, and then delivered another double to give the Hoops a 2-1 win at McDiarmid Park against St Johnstone. And he finished off February by scoring the only goal of the game against Aberdeen at Celtic Park last weekend.

Auch wenn er diese Saison des Öfteren ziemlich enttäuscht hat, man muss sich mal überlegen wo wir ohne seine Tore stünden. Das wird eine riesige Herausforderung ihn nächste Saison ersetzen zu müssen.

Hätten wir eine bessere Abwehr, würden wir auch besser dastehen. Es gibt einige Positionen, die viel besser besetzt werden müssen, gerade auch die Positionen über Aussen.

Bei der gerade laufenden U-21 EM hat Edouard beim 2-0 Sieg im Gruppenspiel gegen Russland gestern einen Elfer erst unnachahmlich herausgeholt und dann souverän verwandelt (ab 0:40).

Nächstes Tor von Edouard bei der U21 EM im dritten Gruppenspiel beim 2-0 gegen Island (ab 1:22). Damit hat er im 13. Spiel für die U21 sein 17. Tor erzielt und seinen Rekord weiter ausgebaut.

Die Franzosen haben sich damit auch für das Viertelfinale qualifiziert, wo sie am 31. Mai auf die Niederlande treffen werden.

Bleibt die Frage, ob er bis dahin überhaupt noch bei uns sein wird.
