Celtic möchte mit Edouard vorzeitig zum 2 Jahre verlängern. Hoffe er geht den Deal ein. Dann können wir uns jetzt schon fleißig die Hände reiben.

CELTIC striker, Odsonne Edouard has been named the Ladbrokes Premiership Player of the Month for August. The Frenchman picked up the first award of the 2019/20 season in recognition of his valuable input to Celtic’s 100 per cent start to the league campaign. During the month of August, the goal-getter sat out the 3-1 win over Hearts, but scored in both of Celtic’s other league outings, as the Hoops found the net in fine style in each game with a 7-0 Flag Day win over St Johnstone followed by a 5-2 defeat of Motherwell at Fir Park. Edouard then got September off to a flier by scoring the opener in the 2-0 derby day win over Rangers at Ibrox and he has also found the net against Sarajevo, CFR Cluj and AIK in Europe as well as scoring four goals in two French Under-21 appearances during the international break.

£30m ist die Zahl, mit der im Moment so gehandelt wird, aber wenn er seine bisherige Form diese Saison konstant halten kann könnte das durchaus auch noch mehr werden. Allerdings hat PSG wohl auch noch eine sell-on clause ausgehandelt.

3 Tore durch unseren Eddy. Damit in 4 Spielen 9 Tore durch Edouard. Da wird sich unser Peter bald wieder die Hände reiben.

Zwei Tore für die U21 gegen Aserbaidschan (0:13 und 0:32) und drei gegen die Slovakei (1:13, 1:32 und 2:34) werden das internationale Interesse an Edouard jedenfalls sicher nicht kleiner werden lassen. Zumindest über den Winter hinaus wäre sein Verbleib für uns aber schon extrem wichtig, auch wenn es sehr sicher das ein oder ander Angebot geben wird:

Auch im nächsten Spiel für die französische U-21 hat Edouard wieder getroffen, beim 3-2 gegen Georgien erzielte er das Siegtor per Elfer in der Nachspielzeit (ab 1:36).

Würde mich nicht wundern wenn es nicht mehr allzu lange dauert, bis auch die A-Nationalmannschaft sich mal bei ihm meldet. Für die EM 2020 dürfte es zwar wahrscheinlich nicht mehr reichen aber das ist ja nicht das einzige internationale Turnier im nächsten Sommer:

Gegen die Schweiz hat er auch getroffen, allerdings 1-3 verloren.

Meine Gedanken, was mit unserem Geld auf der Bank passieren könnte. Bitte noch Forster verpflichten, der dürfte rund 7-10 Mille kosten. Beide wären sehr wichtig für die kommende 10 IAR Saison.

Brown hat im Interview gesagt, Edouard bleibt noch 2 Jahre bei uns. Ich bin gespannt und hoffe zumindest noch für eine Saison.

Die Coronakrise könnte uns da noch in die Karte spielen. Einen neuen Club zu finden ist aktuell gar nicht so einfach. Go for it!!!!

Borussia Dortmund möchte angeblich Odsonne Edouard im Sommer verpflichten. Das berichtet Le10Sport. Demnach soll der 22 Jahre alte Stürmer von Celtic Glasgow zur kommenden Saison nach Dortmund gelotst werden, auch wenn die Position des Mittelstürmes durch Erling Haaland besetzt ist.

Wenn man das so liest steht es da das wäre natürlich Gold wert. Am besten den Vertrag noch um 1 Jahr verlängern und ab to 10 in a row
